Your comfort zone is exactly where you and your business will grow.......NO! of course not! What are you doing to pull yourself and your business out of that comfort zone and actually grow?
One of the things that we've really embraced are the "hard truths" of what's going on in our business. One of the things we had to face about a year and a half ago was that our software was not good enough. It had too many bugs, too many issues. We had reached for the sun and put all this stuff into it, but we didn't take enough time to make it solid.
So we spent the last 18 months making it a solid product. It's a great product now and it took us about a year before we could really say "this is a great piece of software". But, we got there because we faced these hard truths.
Another one that we've done recently, if you check out our support page we actually post all of our customer support survey results. It's really scary to do! I've talked to our tech department and we DO NOT game this. We send out a survey for every closed ticket and if someone says something negative, that goes up.
This is last month's survey responses.
So what are those things you're doing with your company because I'll tell you, once we started posting those, all of us started thinking differently about how we respond to things. But that's been a really good process of pulling us out of our comfort zone.
Where are you making yourself and hitting those hard truths so you can change you and your team for the better.
