I'm out of the office today at a Vistage convention but I still need to do some work. We all have our phones, laptops and access to email. But sometimes that isn't enough!
I'm still creating my videos because I need to keep that churning and we've got a lot of tools for that.
So over the course of the past couple years, I would say about half of our company has gone from working in our office, to working remotely. They're all over the country and we want that as an option for our employees but we've had to figure out new technologies and new ways to deal with that. We've switched to a lot of video conferencing and video chat that has been huge for us.
So how are you managing and working on projects remotely when your project is living on your main server back in your office? One of the ways that I've seen to do this that's really cool is integrating Dropbox workflows into your local shared storage.
